Through The Porthole - Day 4

Overnight sailing brought us into Nordfjorden (160km long, 300m deep) and an anchorage off the coast at Loen ("Loo-en")

The early morning lights shone invitingly through our porthole as we headed up for first coffee after a warming shower. The predicted heavy seas didn't materialise so we both had a solid night's sleep, aided by the pre-emptive seasickness medication. I'm sure this is only a temporary reprieve, as the heavy winds are still waiting for us once we leave the fjord and re-enter open water.

For those of a more active persuasion, the morning was crammed with activity. For the more... pedestrian traveller, we still had the chance to step out on deck while it was still relatively dark, and grab some good shots of the lights over water, before escaping the cold to enjoy an earlier-than-normal "main" breakfast.
